There are SO many problems. I don't know if it's the app, the thermostat or both, but it doesn't really matter. The result is it just doesn't work correctly. The setting for the temp changes all on its own. I don't know if it will be 80° or 50° when I wake up. It switches between heat and cool by itself even though it's set on cool. And the history/runtime data is WAY off and nothing but a joke. Don't buy this thermostat. Don't use the app. It is ALL messed up.

I purchased this thermostat for two main features. the set it and forget it schedule for heating and cooling and the Geofencing feature. I have checked every setting that is required to be selected and it refuses to work. it says it is running yet when you leave the parameter you defined, it will not change to vacation schedule. I contacted customer service. They said, yes, they have had problems getting that to work, I should purchase another manufacturers thermostat. Stunned!! Don't buy!

Room temperature is inaccurate. The thermostat actually works pretty well but the temperature sensor for the inside is a full 5° off. I wish there was a way in the software to adjust this. Also the little graphs to explain trending have no hourly marks on them to make the information worthwhile the app could certainly use an upgrade or some refinement. It's still on version 1.0. Also the temperature graph it's pretty useless because the app doesn't display the actual settings of the thermostat.
