*Common wire (c-wire) not required for most applications. Does not work with baseboard heat and some other systems. Common wire (c-wire) is required for heat only systems, cool only systems and heat pump systems.

app works but needs some major front end updates. resolution is terrible when using a tablet. you have to change the tablet display settings in a "guess and check" method to get it to look well enough to where its operational but it's completely incompatible in landscape mode (screen turned horizontal). other than that... its functional. just needs a few touch-ups and it would be pretty solid.

Room temperature is inaccurate. The thermostat actually works pretty well but the temperature sensor for the inside is a full 5° off. I wish there was a way in the software to adjust this. Also the little graphs to explain trending have no hourly marks on them to make the information worthwhile the app could certainly use an upgrade or some refinement. It's still on version 1.0. Also the temperature graph it's pretty useless because the app doesn't display the actual settings of the thermostat.

I purchased this thermostat for two main features. the set it and forget it schedule for heating and cooling and the Geofencing feature. I have checked every setting that is required to be selected and it refuses to work. it says it is running yet when you leave the parameter you defined, it will not change to vacation schedule. I contacted customer service. They said, yes, they have had problems getting that to work, I should purchase another manufacturers thermostat. Stunned!! Don't buy!
