Area Zed wants its aliens back. It has sent the Drones.

There are a lot of Drones. There are Scouts, Darters, Netters, Shield Drones, a Warden with a searchlight, and a Hunter that has been told not to come home without you. Zerb looked at all of this for a long time. Then Zerb said the plan was to go back in.

Hazard called it "a tactical advance". Frost called it "beneath us". Doze was asleep.

HOW IT WORKS
Drag anywhere to steer. Your squad's powers fire on their own. You start alone, rescue a friend after each of the first two waves, and every power you add leaves Drones Dizzy, Frozen, Gooed, Marked, Drowsy, Sparked or Tripped. Hit a Drone with the wrong status at the right moment and you get a combo.

36 COMBOS
Every pair of aliens has one. Chain Freeze. Short Circuit. Sticky Bomb. Pillow Fight. Night Shift. Tesla Coil. Chain them close together for a bigger counter, and charge the Squad Move, a screen-wide panic led by whoever you picked.

EIGHT LEVELS, THREE STARS EACH
Short levels with a boss at the end, from the Fence Line to Searchlight Hill. One star for clearing it, one for keeping your hull, one for a big combo chain. Power-ups come when a wave is cleared, so the game never stops to ask you a question.

BACK INTO AREA ZED
Three friends are still inside. Find Doze in the Storage Crates, asleep. Fight beside Rivet in the Repair Bay. Then there is Power Cut.

MEET SQUEAK
Squeak is very small, very scared, and the only one who knows where the switch is. Keep the Drones off Squeak all the way there. Same route every time, skill only, and beating it frees Squeak for good. Squeak is the star. Nobody has told Squeak.

EVOLVE
Level a power far enough and it evolves: Laugh Riot, Blizzard, Thunderstorm, Goo Tsunami, Wrecking Ball, Eclipse, Hibernate, Workshop, Zoomies. Every alien earns crew ranks as you play. Ranks are earned, never sold.

THE CREW
- Zerb: a laugh that leaves Drones Dizzy.
- Fizz: an EMP that chains from Drone to Drone.
- Gloop: goo puddles that slow and sting.
- Doze: a slow snore that shoves Drones back, then puts them to sleep.
- Frost: an ice trail that chills, then freezes.
- Hazard: a charge wherever you steer, flinging Drones.
- Midnight: goes ghost, and Marks what they pass through.
- Rivet: turrets that stay where they were built.
- Squeak: while moving, can't be hit, and trips what they slip past.

Zerb, Fizz, Gloop and Doze are free. Frost, Hazard, Midnight and Rivet can be bought one at a time, at a fixed price. Squeak can be earned in Power Cut, or bought. They all play differently and none of them wins more often: we test that. Buy a character in any Zerb game and they are yours in all of them.

Caught? Watch a short video to get back up, once a run. A level finished that way earns no stars. Or watch one at the end to double your scrap. Those are the only ads, and they are your choice.

No timer between runs. No lives to wait for. No random prizes for sale. Just a squad, some Drones, and a plan that has not been thought through.
