About this app

The inevitable need for religious knowledge and our people's access to it, prompted us to take the initiative and embark on a major project, which aims to facilitate access to this heritage of Islamic religious literature for the general public.

It is known that the divine book, the Glorious Quran, has been served with several well-completed translations in the Albanian language, but this service has been deficient in the field of prophetic hadith, and we see that so far, none of the hadith collections has been translated well into our language. As a result of this, we decided that together with a group of hoxhalar specialized in various religious fields, we would start a project that would meet our needs in this field.

Project Details

The project in question concerns the translation of six collections of hadith and others:

• Sahih al-Bukhari
• Sahih Muslim
• Sunan Abu Dawud
• Sunan an-Nasa'i
• Sunan at-Tirmidhi
• Sunan Ibn Majah
• Riyadu Salihin
• 40 hadiths
• Umdetul Ahkam

Who are the translators?

The translation of the six books goes through a process of translation, review and revision by competent imams and professionals.

Translators:
1. Dr. Flamur Kabashi
2. Faruk Lohaj
3. Sultan Pajaziti
4. Bajram Karabeg
5. Kushtrim Manzhuqa
6. Hekuran Helshani

Religious reviewers:
1. Dr. Rasim Haxha (PhD in Fiqh - Kasim)
2. Dr. Bledar Haxhiu (PhD in Fiqh - Kasim)

Linguistic reviewers:
1. MA Jeton Koqinaj (Master of Albanian Language - Prishtina)

All the above-mentioned books will be in two versions, in physical book version and electronic version. Physical version: All six books will be printed after their completion. The physical version of the books will contain every hadith in Arabic and its translation in Albanian. Electronic version: All six books will be free for the public, as a website and as applications on iOS and Android.

The application will have the following features, among others:

1. Hadith search (Search can be done in all books or in specific books or chapters. Search can also be done based on the narrator and based on the number of the hadith, all of these in both languages, Arabic and Albanian)

2. Hadith dictionary (some words that cannot be translated into Albanian (e.g. Zakat, Hijra) will have distinct signs within the text of the hadith, which upon clicking, will display the explanation of those words.)

3. Biography of the narrators - the Companions (For each hadith, clicking on the name of the narrators will display the biography of the narrator)

4. Description of the hadith (For some hadiths that need a description, there will be a link "Open the description of the hadith", which will display the description of the hadith)

5. Audio version of the hadith (Each hadith will have its own audio version. While the application provides the option of playing the voice for a hadith, or even for a complete chapter)
6. Bookmark - Reference mark
7. Subscription for the hadith of the day
