About this app

Detective is a helpful monitoring tool that searches for and identifies matches in selected documents and message notifications you've authorized, targeting specific words, text, registration numbers, or contact information.

You can review a file once or, optionally, start the Watch feature yourself to monitor new files downloaded to your chosen WhatsApp and WhatsApp Business folders, as well as new notifications you've authorized. Watch only runs when you start it. Permanent notifications are displayed as long as it's active and can be completely turned off with the Stop command in the notification.

• Visibly mark matching lines or fields

• Save, view, and share processed outputs
• Track text matches in WhatsApp and WhatsApp Business notifications you've authorized
• Search for matches in new files downloaded to your selected folders
• Receive descriptive notifications when a match is found
• Use interfaces in 61 languages ​​and various OCR language options

Privacy:
The documents you select, search criteria, notification content, and OCR results are processed on the device. The current version of Detective does not request INTERNET permission and does not send this content to its own server. File and folder access is limited to the content you select, via Android's official selection screens. Detective does not use access or accessibility permissions for all files.

For simple use, you don't need to grant message or folder permissions; you can select a document and review it. Automatic tracking is only enabled if you turn on the Watch feature and grant the necessary permissions.

Important:
Detective is a helpful search, OCR, notification, and file tagging tool. OCR accuracy depends on the document quality, file structure, Android restrictions, and other application notification or download settings. Some content may be detected late, incomplete, or incorrectly. Check the results separately for important decisions.
