Local Saints app is a comprehensive app that brings the world of local saints at your fingertips. With its user-friendly interface, the app provides a seamless experience to explore and discover saints based on dates, regions and name search.
The app's "Home Screen" displays the current date along with a list of local saints associated with that day. Users can scroll horizontally to see the next saint and tap on the tile to delve into the saint's biography. They can also press the left or right arrow to browse to other dates, or press the date (all the way up) and select any date of the year they want. If they want to go back to today's date they can press the date between the arrows.
The "Regions" screen allows users to navigate to different geographic levels, starting with Regions, then going to Prefectures, and finally to Metropolises. Users can then view a list of saints associated with that Metopolis. By selecting a saint from the list, users can access a comprehensive biography of the selected saint.
In addition, the application integrates Google Maps, providing a visual representation of the Regions, Prefectures and Metropolises associated with the saints. Users can browse the maps, selecting Regions, Prefectures and Metropolises to explore the corresponding list of saints. To display the maps they can press the icon all the way up.
Saint Search feature allows users to explore the entire collection of saints within the app. By typing a saint's name in the search bar, users can quickly locate the desired saint's tile and access their full biography.
Saints by Date feature allows users to browse saints based on specific dates. Users can select a month from the list, followed by a day, to discover the saints associated with that date.
