Gave the game a chance despite seeing it made into a bulletstorm game. Unfortunately it's just 1942 with Colossatron. Low effort & the creativity from the first game is all gone. Dodging a few enemies, selecting a generic upgrades, and going through waves. The other kicker is the subscription service requirement to keep playing the game. In terms of bulletstorm it lacks anything unique. It's a disappointment, and feels more like a Marketing gimmick. Colossatron deserves better.

Considering this is a prototype, it's pretty good. As of now, there's a lack of content which isn't a real problem since this is essentially a demo. I'm not giving 5 stars because this doesn't feel like a "Colossatron" game at all, more like the name is just stuck on here for marketing. I'd love to see elements of the first game come in, even just small things, to really add some character and nostalgia from the original (merging upgrades, synergies). It's just not a Colossatron game right now.

Kinda cool, but doesn't have anything to do with Colossatron's unique power core merging mechanics. Feels like Colossatron was just slapped onto a pre-existing game. It lost that sauce it had originally. Also, it requires a premium subscription to play the whole thing. I'd rather pay to play the game up-front than pay for a subscription to play a game.
