DO NOT INSTALL. This is not the game you're looking for. A recent update removed all of the "classic" aspects of the Fruit Ninja we love. Now, it's a crippled, tedious spin-off of the original. It's not fun. It confuses my kid. It does not work offline anymore and requires some scammy subscription to play. They just added a 60 minute trial mode after everyone complained, but I paid for the original full version. Support is useless. Now, I will never trust anything that comes from Halfbrick.

Nostalgia brought me here, I used to play this back on the iPod touch 4th gen. And I could have swore I remembered this game being vertical but when I downloaded it just to try it out after all these years It was horizontal which for me greatly affects gameplay. To be fair I didn't try to see if I could switch it around, but overall it just felt a bit different than what it used to and that was a bit of a bummer.

Used to be my favorite time killer. Fun, casual, but had some headroom for skill. I didn't even mind the ads, considering it was free. However, now that it is under a subscription model, absolutely useless to me. I have zero interest in their other games, and less than zero interest in being time locked to 20 minutes. Sad.
