Halfrope helps climbers find someone to climb with. Rope or pads, a one-off session at the wall or a multi-day trip — Halfrope is for you. Add your favourite walls and show up on the map. Say where and when you're training and let people find you. Would rather join someone else? See who's already posted a session.
SESSIONS
Post your own sessions or browse the ones the Halfrope community has posted. You pick the place off the map, add a date and time, and your session appears in the app. Whoever posted it confirms requests to join, and you sort out the details in the chat.
FRIENDS
Already have people to climb with? Add your friends on Halfrope and mark a session "friends only" — they join without asking. Send invite links to your circle, or add a climber directly in the app. Browse your friends' sessions and pick a training time to meet up.
TRIPS
Where, when, and the seats left in the car. Kalymnos, Frankenjura, Céüse — anywhere. Climbers heading the same way will join you, and you confirm who comes. Once the car is full, you have a group chat.
COURSES
Climbing sections are regular lessons with an instructor. You enrol once and attend on a recurring basis. The instructor sets the price and you settle it directly — the app takes no part in the payment.

Over 57,000 climbing places across Europe, close to 4,000 of them indoor walls — on the map before anybody posts a session there. Yours missing? Add it yourself and it's visible in the app at once.
YOU DECIDE WHO SEES YOU
For every session and every trip you choose: everyone, or friends only. Your default lives on your profile. You can also invite one specific person to a session.
SAFETY
Every profile, every message and every session can be reported. Any climber can be blocked — after that neither of you sees the other. You delete your account from inside the app, data and all.
DATING
Looking for someone to tie yourself to, not just with a rope? Turn on "open to dating" on your profile and find your other half — someone who shares your interests.
PROFILE
Let people get to know you. Add your photos, ideally from climbing, your best ascents and the kinds of climbing you do. Mark the walls you visit and the ones you want to be seen at.
FREE
The account, sessions, friends and trips cost nothing. Halfrope speaks six languages: English, Polish, German, French, Spanish and Russian.
