⚡ HOW MESSAGE RECOVERY WORKS

WhatsHidden does not hack messaging accounts, bypass encryption or retrieve messages from messaging servers.

WhatsHidden uses Android Notification Access to save supported incoming message notifications locally. If a sender later deletes a message, the previously saved notification copy may remain available.

For recovery to work, WhatsHidden must receive the supported notification before the message is deleted. Messages deleted before WhatsHidden was installed or before required permissions were enabled cannot be recovered.
