Learn the Greek alphabet before your next holiday – one letter at a time, then the words and signs you will actually see.

Ela! Alfa Beta is a small, friendly game about the 24 Greek letters. Every letter has three faces: the small letter, the capital and its name. The game shows you one of them and you find the other two on the board. Tap a tile to place it. Three mistakes and the level starts again – no lives to refill, no timers, nothing to wait for.

HOW IT WORKS
• The board starts with two letters and grows to seven.
• At the end of each level the letters are read aloud, and a short test checks what stuck – with a few letters from earlier levels, so nothing is forgotten.
• Every tenth level ends with a real Greek sign to read, built only from letters you already know.
• After level 10 you learn the letter pairs that make one sound, like ου, αι, μπ and ντ.
• From level 11 the words arrive: 750 Greek words and signs sorted by theme – the harbour, the taverna, the beach, the bakery and many more.
• Your alphabet page shows which letters you have met, which you know and which you have written by hand.
• Writing pages: trace each letter on a guide, then write it from memory to turn it gold.
• A new sign of the day every day, and 167 badges to collect.
