About this app

HAL Takeoff is the companion app for HAL Simplify's Takeoff platform. It lets the HAL team keep an eye on their development environments and coding agents from a phone, without opening a laptop.

HAL Takeoff is for HAL Simplify team members. You sign in with your HAL ERP account in the browser and approve the app on the Takeoff page. The app is not for the general public.

WHAT YOU CAN DO

Environments
• See all your environments with their status (ready, starting, stopped, failed) at a glance.
• Open an environment to see its branch, source tenant, snapshot date and how far its code is behind the base branch.
• Start, stop and refresh an environment, create a new one from a database backup, or delete one you own.
• Browse an environment's files and its database tables.
• Get a notification when an environment finishes starting or fails.

Backups
• Browse the database backup folders you have access to and the files inside them, with size and date.

Agents
• See your Claude and Codex coding sessions on the Takeoff server: which are working, which need you, and which are idle.
• Check each session's last request, progress summary, model and context use, plus your Claude 5-hour and weekly usage.
• Read a conversation's latest messages, reply to a session that is waiting for you, or ask an agent to start a task.

Server
• See the environment server's CPU, memory and free disk, so you know when it is busy.

PRIVACY AND SECURITY
• Sign-in happens in your browser. The app never sees your HAL ERP password.
• Your session is kept in the Android Keystore on your device and can be signed out at any time from the app or from the Takeoff page.
• The app only talks to the Takeoff platform of your organisation over HTTPS.

HAL Takeoff needs a HAL Simplify account that has been given access to Takeoff. If you are not sure whether you have access, ask your team lead.
