This app lets you take photos of printouts and study materials with your camera, cover the parts you want to memorize with a marker, and create fill-in-the-blank questions.
It's perfect for memorizing for school tests and certification exams. It's convenient because you don't need to write on the material and can create memorization questions without damaging your documents.
It's completely free to use, and you can import images and PDF files saved on your smartphone. You can also place up to 100 markers per image.
The app focuses on simple functions: ① Take a picture → ② Cover (place markers) → ③ Memorize! (Open/close markers). While it lacks complex scoring and settings features, it's extremely easy to use.
◎Functional Update History
[ver1.10.1]
① Added a button to move memorization markers.
Previously, markers could only be moved by dragging, but now they can also be moved using a button.
*The toggle button added to the bottom left of the question screen allows you to switch between "transform" and "move" marker operation buttons.
② Added continuous operation of control buttons
By long-pressing the marker control button, you can now continuously move and transform markers without having to tap repeatedly.
③ Added image display brightness adjustment function
The image display brightness can now be adjusted in the settings screen using the following 5 levels:
・Slightly dim, Standard, Slightly bright, Bright, Bright (highest)
[ver1.10.0]
① Added batch sharing function for multiple problem data:
Based on your feedback, the sharing function, which was previously only possible for individual problems, has been expanded to allow you to archive (zip) multiple problems together and share them with other devices.
This can also be used as a backup when changing devices.
*On the list screen, selecting "Select" from the menu to the right of each problem card will display a checkbox. After selecting the problems you want to share, you can create a shared zip file from the share button at the top of the screen.
② Added batch saving function for multiple problem images:
Based on your feedback, you can now save images of multiple selected problems together on your device.
*On the list screen, select "Select" from the menu to the right of each problem card, select the problem you want to save, and then save it using the save button at the top of the screen.
[ver1.9.0]
Based on your feedback, we have added the ability to display text on markers.
*This feature allows you to number markers, create simple notes using markers as text boxes, and create additional fill-in-the-blank problems (utilizing the setting to display when a marker is opened).
[ver1.8.0]
◯Addition of marker and problem card colors:
Based on your feedback, we have added two new colors to markers (white and black) and two new colors to problem cards (blue and gray).
*Caution: If you share problem data using added colors for markers and problem cards to another device and open it with an older version of this app (prior to 1.8.0), the added colors will not be recognized, and the markers will be converted to orange and the cards to colorless.
Therefore, please update this app to the latest version on the sharing device as well.
[ver1.7.0]
◯ Added direct movement between problems:
Based on your feedback, we've added a function that allows you to move directly to the previous or next problem without returning to the list screen.
On the problem creation/practice screen, with practice mode selected, you can move directly by tapping the left and right buttons displayed at the bottom of the screen.
*However, on the problem list screen, you need to set the sorting method to either "Manual Sort" or "Created Date".
[ver1.6.0]
① Added a function to hide ads for a certain period of time:
We've added "Hide Ads for a Certain Period of Time" to the settings screen.
By watching an ad (video, etc.) via this button, all ads will be hidden for 1 hour after viewing.
*Since the time is measured using the server-side time (Japan Standard Time), there may be a difference from the time displayed on the device.
② Added a function to check notifications and app update information:
We've added "Notifications and Update Information" to the settings screen.
[ver1.5.0]
Based on your feedback, we've added a folder organization function.
You can create and select folders using the folder icon button in the lower right corner of the problem list screen.
All problem data created before the app update is saved in the "Main Folder" (the Main Folder cannot be deleted or renamed).
For simplicity, hierarchical folder creation is not currently possible.
[ver1.4.0]
Based on your feedback, we have added a function to manually sort (rearrange) problems on the problem list screen.
*With "Manual Sort" selected from the sort button in the upper right corner of the list screen, you can slide and rearrange problem cards by long-pressing them for about 1 second (rearrangement is not possible while searching for text).
[ver1.3.0]
Based on your feedback, we have made it possible to duplicate and use created markers.
Also, we have made it possible to change the title on the problem list screen.
[ver1.2.4]
Based on your feedback, when returning to the list screen, it now returns to the position where the open problem was displayed, rather than the top position.
[ver1.2.0]
Based on your feedback, we've added three levels (High, Medium, Low) for adjusting the image quality (resolution) when taking photos with the camera or importing images from your device.
*The default is Low (the same image quality as before).
*If your original camera resolution setting or image file resolution is low, changing to Medium or High may not produce any noticeable difference.
[ver1.1.0]
We've added the ability to change the initial display size of markers.
◎Other features are as follows:
●There is a sharing function, allowing you to compress created problems into files and send them to other users. You can also import problems shared by other users.
●Markers can be freely rotated, allowing you to hide slanted text and shapes. Therefore, you can hide them without worrying about tilted photos.
●Markers can be opened and closed with a tap, making them intuitive to use.
●There are two modes: practice mode and creation mode. In practice mode, markers cannot be edited, preventing accidental movement or deletion.
●You can zoom in and out of images using pinch gestures. If the text in the image is small, this is useful for fine-tuning the area to hide.
● Marker size and rotation can be easily adjusted using the buttons at the bottom of the screen.
● You can change the marker color, allowing you to distinguish between questions you've answered correctly or questions you want to review.
● Text can be displayed on the marker, allowing you to add question numbers or use it as a sticky note.
● You can give each question a title. There is no character limit, so you can also use it as a memo field. Text entered in the title field can be searched using the text search function on the list screen (described later).
● Captured images can be saved to your device's gallery folder.
● On the question card list screen, you can change the card color to distinguish between question types.
● You can search for text in the title field.
● Question cards can be sorted manually, or by creation date, update date, or title character code.
● You can create folders to categorize and manage questions.
● Dark mode is also available.
