Hammer Focus helps you reduce distractions during study, meditation, and focused work sessions.

Choose a focus mode, set a duration, and control which apps can open while your session is active. Hammer Focus is designed for people who want a simple way to stay away from distracting apps and protect their focus time.

Key features:

Study Mode
Study Mode works as an allowlist. You choose the apps you need for studying, and other distracting apps stay blocked during the session.

Meditation Mode
Meditation Mode is built for quiet time. It helps keep apps locked so you can stay away from notifications and distractions while meditating or resting.

Custom Lock
Custom Lock lets you choose specific apps to block. This is useful when you only want to restrict selected apps instead of using a full study allowlist.

Emergency Calls for Study
You can choose emergency contacts for Study Mode. During Study Mode, selected emergency contacts may still ring while other calls can be restricted where supported by your device.

Free and Premium
Hammer Focus includes a free plan with limited focus sessions and app selections. Rewarded ads may be used for free-session access. Premium unlocks additional durations and app selection limits.

Privacy and Permissions
Hammer Focus uses sensitive permissions only to provide its focus and app-blocking features.

Usage Access is used during active focus sessions to detect which app is currently open.

Display over other apps is used to show the lock screen when a blocked app is opened.

Accessibility Service is used only to support app blocking during active focus sessions. Hammer Focus does not read screen text, capture passwords, send messages, make purchases, or collect Accessibility data.

Do Not Disturb access may be used to reduce interruptions during focus sessions and restore settings afterward where supported.

Call Screening may be used during Study Mode to help restrict calls except selected emergency contacts. Hammer Focus does not record or store call audio.

Installed app names and package names are used so you can choose allowed or blocked apps. Emergency contact names and phone numbers are used only for the emergency contact feature. These settings are stored locally on your device.
