The String Tuner is a tuner designed for violins and cellos.
When you strum a string, it automatically identifies it and displays the alignment using the needle and color.
■ Automatic String Detection
It automatically detects the string you are currently strumming, choosing between G, D, A, and E (Violin) and C, G, D, and A (Cello).
If you want to tune only a specific string, you can press the string name on the fretboard to lock it.
■ Clear Gauge at a Glance
Green if within ±5 cents, orange if slightly off, and red if significantly off.
It immediately tells you what to do, such as "It's too low" or "Tighten the string."
If the alignment is maintained for a brief moment, a check mark appears on that string, and it vibrates briefly.
■ Accurate Cello Basses
It captures sounds where the harmonics resonate louder than the fundamental, such as the C string on a cello, without missing an octave.
It turns off noise cancellation for mobile phone calls to record the sound as is, ensuring that the bass is not cut off.
■ Listen to Reference Tones
Press the speaker button for each string to hear that tone. It is also good for practicing matching by ear.
■ Do-Re-Mi Mode
It finds and displays the nearest semitone for any note, whether from a song, piano, or any instrument.
Press the key to play that note.
■ Reference Pitch (A4) Setting
430~446Hz. You can also select 442Hz, which is commonly used in orchestras, at once.
Note names are labeled either Do-Re-Mi or CDE, whichever is more convenient for you.
Microphone sound is used only to calculate pitch within the device and is not recorded or transmitted.
