About this app

Hands Off is a loud anti-theft alarm for your phone. Put your phone down and tap Activate. If anyone moves it, takes it out of your pocket or pulls the charger, a siren goes off at full volume until you enter your PIN.

DON'T TOUCH MY PHONE – THREE ALARM MODES
• Motion alarm: leave the phone on the table in a café, a library or on the train. The slightest movement sets off the alarm (three sensitivity levels).
• Pocket alarm: keep the phone in your pocket or bag. If a pickpocket takes it out, the siren starts.
• Charger alarm: charging at the airport or in a hotel lobby? If someone unplugs the cable, the alarm sounds.

A LOUD ALARM THAT IS HARD TO SILENCE
• Siren at full volume – the volume buttons cannot turn it down
• Vibration and flashlight strobe
• The alarm screen appears right on the lock screen
• Only your PIN stops it – or, if you allow it, your fingerprint or screen lock
• Too many wrong PINs lock the keypad

INTRUDER SELFIE
Someone enters a wrong PIN? Hands Off takes a photo with the front camera. See who touched your phone in the history. The photos stay on your phone and are never uploaded.

PRIVACY
No account needed. The sensors and the camera are used only on your phone, and intruder photos never leave it.

Good to know: an alarm deters and draws attention, but it cannot stop someone from switching the phone off. Use Hands Off together with your phone's own screen lock.
