About this app

Recruit a Guide is a free, dedicated recruitment app for nature guides, culture guides, adventure guides, lodge managers, and management couples across Southern Africa.

Recruit a Guide connects you to operators and employers in the tourism industry from all over South Africa and beyond, and links you up with job opportunities that are tailored to your specific skillset.

Recruit a Guide also gives YOU the choice to either actively apply for jobs through your job board, or create the perfect profile and let job offers come to you.

Creating your profile only takes a matter of minutes and, once complete, you can immediately start applying for jobs with just the click of a button.

Key Features

◆ Create a detailed and robust profile to help you stand out from the crowd.

◆ Tailor your profile so that you only see job posts that are relevant to you:

- Choose your capacity (freelance/permanent);
- Indicate your experience;
- Set your working rate;
- And much more!

◆ Add and upload any qualifications and certificates you may have.

◆ List references from previous jobs and positions. Your references are sent for verification, which will be displayed to employers.

◆ Add any vehicles you own to your profile.

◆ Set yourself apart from the competition by uploading a video bio and show employers “who” you are and not just “what” you do.

◆ Show off language skills with in-app recordings.

◆ Filter through job posts based on country, region, and language requirements.

◆ Apply for jobs with just the click of a button!

◆ Receive notifications whenever a relevant job is posted.

If you’re a nature guide, culture guide, an adventure guide, lodge manager, or management couple and struggling to find a job, you’re in the right place! Our app not only connects you to a large job market, but it also gives you the platform to highlight what sets you apart from other candidates.
