How Handzhake works:
- Create your profile by using your local eID service (e.g. MitID for Denmark, BankID for Sweden etc.) within a minute.
- Use preset or custom “cards” (like a business card) to quickly create relations where you both agree on which information to share (e.g. phone number, e-mail, home address, social media links etc – and possibly personal information like age, relationship status and children names etc.). All information sharing is always based on a fully consensual “show me yours and I’ll show you mine”-policy.
- All active relations are automatically synchronized to your contact database so that you never have to update a phone number, address, email etc again. Instead of providing your new phone number to all your contacts, just change it in Handzhake and all your contacts will be updated instantly.
- Use the “Nearby” feature to connect with people in close proximity whether you are at a meeting, conference, dinner, date etc.
- Rate your relations (and be rated) on different parameters with the ability to use or request those ratings across other online platforms
- Let your future friends, trading or dating partners know who you are and how you are rated at first contact and skip the initial, time-consuming trust-build phase – and limit the number of human disappointments by setting your own criterias for whom you interact with.
