Hanja Run is a Hanja learning game for elementary school students where they learn Hanja while playing a game of running and jumping.
■ Memorize While Playing
As you run along the path, headbutt a Hanja book floating in the air to reveal a question.
You simply need to select the meaning and pronunciation from four options. Occasionally, the meaning and pronunciation are shown in reverse, and you are asked to select the character.
This is to verify whether you truly know the characters, not just pretend to have memorized them.
There are ten questions per stage. You must answer at least seven questions correctly to open the portal to the next level.
■ Tailored to Your Child's Level
It includes the 1,000 assigned Hanja characters from the Korean Language and Literature Society's Hanja Proficiency Test, in their original grade levels. · Grade 8 · Intermediate Grade 7 · Grade 7 (150 characters)
· Intermediate Grade 6 · Grade 6 (150 characters)
· Intermediate Grade 5 · Grade 5 (200 characters)
· Intermediate Grade 4 (250 characters)
· Grade 4 (250 characters)
If you select the grade level to learn at the start, questions will only appear within that range.
Children who have already mastered Grade 8 may start with Intermediate Grade 6.
A new set of characters is drawn each time so that different characters appear even when playing the same stage again.
■ Incorrect characters are asked again
Incorrect Hanja characters accumulate in the Incorrect Answer Notebook.
They reappear when re-entering the stage, opening treasure chests, and before the final boss.
If correct, they are erased from the notebook.
When incorrect, the answer screen does not close for 3 seconds.
This is a feature designed to prevent impatient children from skipping over the answer without even reading it.
