■ Follow Along with YouTube Cooking Videos Without Rewinding
If you have ever rewound a video with greasy hands wondering, "How many spoons of soy sauce was that earlier?",
Hansul does that for you. Simply enter a link to a YouTube cooking video, and it analyzes the video's description to convert it into a recipe that organizes the ingredients, cooking order, heat level, and estimated time.
It is designed for those who are just starting to cook.
■ How to Use
1. Find a cooking video you want to make on YouTube.
2. Paste the link — you can also tap 'Share → Hansul' in the YouTube app.
3. Check the organized recipe and follow along step-by-step on the cooking screen.
■ Key Features
· YouTube Link → Step-by-Step Recipe
We organize the ingredients, quantities, cooking order, heat level, and estimated time.
· Automatic playback of each step
When you move to the "Sauté the onions" step, playback resumes from that point in the video.
You don't need to watch long videos from the beginning again. If you just missed a section, you can rewatch it. · Share directly from the YouTube app
Tap Share → Hansul while watching a video, and the link will be automatically filled in.
There is no need to copy and paste.
· "Appropriate Amount" is not overlooked
For ingredients whose quantities are not explicitly stated in the video, the AI will estimate the value and add it,
but will mark it as 'Needs Verification.' You can skip directly to the scene where that ingredient is added,
to check it visually and make corrections yourself.
· Ingredient preparation guide
For preparation methods that can be daunting for beginners, such as 'diagonal slicing' or 'cross-cutting,'
we will show you pre-verified instructions. The AI does not make them up.
· Cooking timer
Estimated times are attached to each step, and you will be notified when the timer runs out.
· Recipes shared by others
You can add recipes that others have tried and refined to your own recipes by tapping on them.
(An account is required to save them)
· Record finished dishes as cards
Once you finish making a dish saved in your recipes and upload a photo of the finished product,
a recipe card with stats and rarity is created. It’s fun to collect.
■ Principles Hansul Upholds
· Videos play directly within the app using the YouTube player.
Views and revenue go to the original channel. We do not download or transfer videos.
· We do not invent recipes that are not shown in the video.
We only provide alternative ingredients when there is evidence in the video.
· We state that any guessed values are guesses. We do not insist they are correct.
■ Things to Note
· Videos must have subtitles (including auto-generated subtitles) to be converted.
Videos that explain the cooking process verbally yield better results.
· Recipe conversion is free. You simply need to watch a short ad once during the conversion process.
You can convert up to 3 times a day when logged in, and once before logging in.
Videos saved in "My Recipes" can be viewed immediately without ads when reopened.
· There are no in-app purchases.
· Currently available only on Android. ■ Recommended for:
· Those who find themselves constantly rewinding while cooking videos
· Those whose YouTube cooking videos just keep piling up
· Those who hesitate every time because they don't know exactly how much "slightly over medium heat" or "appropriate amount" means
· Those who have just started cooking and are confused about the steps
