About this app
Happy Tactic Driver is the companion app for truck drivers hauling loads for freight brokers and carriers that use Happy Tactic. When a company dispatches a load to you, this app shows it and keeps everyone updated — without the "where are you?" calls.
WHAT YOU CAN DO
• See your load: pickup and delivery stops, addresses, appointment windows, reference numbers, commodity and equipment.
• Arrivals and departures record themselves when you reach and leave a stop, while location sharing is on. If a time is wrong, tap "Not right?" and check in yourself.
• One tap for what only you know: Loaded at the pickup, Delivered at the drop, plus your proof-of-delivery photo or PDF.
• No signal? Keep tapping. Check-ins, ETAs and delivery photos wait on your phone and send themselves when you are back in coverage. Big photos are shrunk on your phone first.
• Send an updated ETA in a couple of taps.
• Two loads at once? Switch between them at the top of the screen.
• Call your dispatcher straight from the load.
• Get a notification when a new load is dispatched to you.
• If a phone setting is stopping location sharing (Location off, approximate location, battery limits, notifications off), the app tells you how to fix it in one tap, in English and Spanish.
LOCATION SHARING — ONLY WHILE YOU ARE ON A LOAD
With your permission, the app shares your location with the company that dispatched your load while that load is in transit, so they can follow its progress and estimate arrival times. It shares about every five minutes, once a minute when you are within two miles of your next stop, and once right away if dispatch asks for your location. It keeps working with the screen off, and a notification is shown the whole time it is on. Sharing stops by itself when the load is delivered, and you can turn it off any time in Settings. The app does not collect your location when you have no load in transit.
SIGN IN WITH YOUR PHONE NUMBER
No password: enter your phone number and the one-time code we text you. You only see loads that a company you work with has dispatched to you, and you choose which companies you share with — you can stop sharing with any of them in Settings.
PRIVACY
No ads, no analytics or tracking SDKs, and we never sell your information. Your sign-in is kept in your phone's secure key storage. You can ask us to delete your data from Settings.
