About this app

Sound and voice recorder for Android, uses RAW microphone data to capture every sound and records in lossless format (PCM WAV). Records stereo audio - listen with headphones and feel surrounded by the sound.

• user-configurable file name including date and time
• stereo / mono channel selection
• option to swap left / right channels
• left / right channel balance +/- 10 dB
• keep screen ON - option so that device does not enter sleep mode
• disable ringing and vibration while recording - option so that the recording does not get ruined by the phone ring or vibration
• in-app audio player (listen to the recordings)
• free, NO ADS, only limitation is recording stops after 10 min. per recording, which is more than enough for recording one song.

You have to see the magic of automatic sound level / gain control (AGC), especially if you use to record meetings / lectures. It works as follows: it amplifies the quiet sounds to capture all, but then if a loud sound happens, it gets reduced volume to not damage your ears.

HQ sound in a record. Tried to speak all around the phone, but did not succeed in making substantial changes in right or left channel. Perheps external microphone would fit to this app. A query. Does the length of the record exceed 10 minutes in paid version? Any other features for remuneration, honōrārium? P.S. Using Samsung S21

appreciate your efforts. however on my phone which has three mics - bottom,top and camera - it is recording both channels from the bottom mic. not sure if there's a fix for this

I have not used the app extensively yet, and will update my review if there are issues, but to do a simple recording as unprocessed data so I can hear every bump and scratch, and then access the recordings menu with the features to share to email, move to folder etc, is an excellent feature that sounds like it was missing based on previous reviews.

• fixes some bugs;
• added dB level markings on the amplitude indicators;
• amplitude indicators maximum value is now +3dB instead of 0dB;
• advanced recording features, accessible by long-tapping the record button in the pro version:
skip silence - will record only when you speak or there is a loud sound above a configurable threshold;
clap to start - you can use on more devices, then you simply clap and they all start recording at the same time (synchronized).
