About this app

aText-TV brings teletext pages from Europe's public and commercial broadcasters
to your pocket – the app has been serving its users for 16 years. It fetches
pages directly from the broadcasters' own servers and displays them in the
traditional, fast-to-browse teletext view, where links can be tapped straight
from the page image.

Channels may stop working because of changes made by the broadcasters. If that

the device name and the operating system version.

This application is not an official app of any broadcaster and is not affiliated

THIS APPLICATION IS A WEB BROWSER. ALL DATA IS LOADED BY THE USERS DIRECTLY FROM
THE BROADCASTERS' WEB PAGES.

Ratings and reviews

Update a while ago made the app worse. Often can't click the numbers on site, zoom is weird and some other hickups.

With Galaxy S23 and latest One UI 6 update clicking the page number (pencil icon) does no longer open keyboard. You have to click once extra on the page number box that popped up to get the keyboard.

App is always wider than my actual screen. Have to scroll right to the right side of a site.

What’s new

New:
• aText-TV now speaks Croatian, Hungarian, Icelandic, Portuguese and Slovenian.
• Pick your language from the menu — the flag at the bottom of it.
• Fixed: on some phones letters with accents were drawn over their neighbours on text pages.
• Fixed: swiping past a page a channel doesn't publish now carries on instead of jumping to the front page.
