Angora is a local-first storage cleaner and storage analyzer for Android. Find large files and exact duplicate files, compress supported photos and videos, review unused apps, and clean up storage with clear information and your confirmation.
Understand your storage
See a clear overview of images, videos, audio, apps, system data, and other storage. Scan accessible media and folders you choose. Angora shows which sources were scanned, which were skipped, and where access is needed.
Find files worth reviewing
Angora analyzes accessible storage for transparent cleanup candidates, including:
• Large files
• Exact duplicate files verified by content when available
• Possible duplicates matched by name and size
• Old downloads and screenshots
• APK installers and downloaded archives
• Explainable junk files in public storage
• Visible app leftovers in public or selected folders
Every file is counted once in one primary category. This keeps storage and cleanup totals clear and avoids double-counting.
Review before you clean
Preview supported files and inspect names, locations, sizes, dates, and the reason each item was found. Review categories normally or use Guided Review with Pro to work through one cleanup decision at a time.
Change every selection yourself. High-risk files are not selected automatically. Before cleanup, Angora rechecks file details, builds a cleanup plan, and asks for confirmation. Results clearly separate cleaned, skipped, and failed items.
Cleanup History keeps local receipts for completed sessions. When Android still makes a restorable item available, you can select files to restore from its cleanup receipt. Permanently deleted files cannot be restored through Angora.
Compress photos and videos locally with Pro
Create a smaller, verified copy of a supported photo or SDR video without uploading it. Angora keeps the original by default, measures the new copy after compression, and only offers the original for cleanup after the copy passes verification. Removing the original still requires review and confirmation.
Find unused apps
When Android provides Usage Access and storage information, Angora can identify user-installed apps with no observed use for at least 30 days and show their storage use.
Uninstall an app through Android's confirmation screen or open system app settings to manage it. Angora does not directly erase private app data or private app cache.
Understand storage changes with Angora Pro
Storage often grows gradually. Angora Pro compares local storage measurements so you can focus on what changed instead of reviewing everything again.
Angora Pro includes:
• A visual map of current measured storage
• Prioritized review of meaningful increases and decreases
• New large item, app, category, and selected-folder change details
• Pending and deferred review
• 7-day and 30-day storage trends
• Optional weekly or monthly read-only storage checks
• Optional notifications for meaningful storage growth
• Guided Review for one decision at a time
• Local photo and video compression with verified copies
• No ad requests
Angora Pro is available as a one-time purchase.
Local-first and user-controlled
Scanning, duplicate detection, classification, storage comparisons, and media compression run on your device. No account is required.
Angora works only with storage Android makes available or folders you explicitly select. Results vary by Android version, permissions, storage provider, file format, and device media capabilities. It does not use all-files access, inspect other apps' private data, or delete anything automatically.
Understand your storage, remove what you no longer need, and free up space with Angora.
Find duplicate and large files, compress media, and clean up storage safely.
