Not as many ads as other games these days but you need to watch ads to get better stuff. The only pop up ads are when you unlock a new area, and when you tap the chest icon on the left hand side. However, the "chosen" ads are like a minute long. Otherwise it's a pretty good game.

Basic game, no sound or music, forced ads, don't bother with this game, much better games out there

Any game that forces you to watch ads in order to play the base game is garbage. You can't level anything above 25 without watching an ad.
