HatchLog is the working app for reptile breeders, built and maintained by The Reptile Club.
Manage your animals, pairings, clutches, hatchlings, photos, feeding, weights, and reminders in one place. HatchLog helps you move faster with QR-code scanning for logging important events, and records that stay connected as your animals move from pairing to hatchling to pedigree.
With HatchLog, you can:
- Track breeders, collection animals, hatchlings, and past animals.
- Log pairings, clutches, incubation, and hatch dates.
- Keep photos, morphs, lineage, notes, weights, and feeding history.
- Print and scan QR labels to log pairings, clutches, male rotations, and more.
- Search and filter your collection as it grows.
HatchLog records are private by default. You can back up your data to a file for free. HatchLog Pro adds automatic cloud backup and cross-device sync for breeders who need it or want their records available across devices.
If you want an animal's lineage on a permanent public record, register it in The Reptile Club Registry. Approved registrations receive an RC code and a public Certificate of Pedigree. Registry records are permanent, and lineage carries forward as future generations are registered. Registration uses 1 Registry credit.
The Reptile Club exists to support the reptile community where useful tools and shared infrastructure are missing.
HatchLog is part of that mission: a practical record-keeping tool made broadly available so breeders can maintain better records for their own animals, their buyers, and the future of the hobby.
