HATCH YOUR MATCH
Hatched is the dating app for people who want a meaningful and authentic way to match. Hatched makes your personality -- not your pictures -- decide your matches and uses an interactive and fun matching experience unlike anything ever seen before.

A NEW WAY TO MATCH
Hatched's innovative matchmaking approach works like this:
1) Users choose an Egg Avatar from a library of options that represents one of their hobbies or interests (i.e. sports egg, shopping egg, etc.).
2) Users choose a photo to go behind their Egg Avatar.
3) Users are matched with other eggs, and see only their match's Egg Avatar and surface level bio details.
4) Users "hatch" by clicking the Hatched icon on their match card, and are presented a multiple-choice personality, attitude, core value or lifestyle question (PAVL).
- Questions are pulled at random from a database of over 700 professionally-generated multiple-choice questions.
5) Users select their answer. If their match selects the same answer, the bottom 25% of both the user and their match's egg will "hatch", revealing the bottom 25% of each other's photos.
6) Hatch again to 50%, then 75% and 100%.
7) After hatching to 100%, users will see their entire match's entire photo (and other pictures), and complete bio details and will have the ability to chat.

A DIFFERENT CRITERIA FOR MATCHMAKING
By hatching personality questions to reveal more of one another, users' personality ultimately dictate their matches, not their photos.

SEE YOUR MATCHES IN A DIFFERENT LIGHT
After fully hatching to 100%, users know they share 4 personality, attitude, core value and lifestyle similarities with their match and have a solid foundation to build a relationship.

NATURAL CONVERSATION STARTERS
Users' and their matches' answers are logged in their chat conversations, providing them with natural reference points to start conversation.

Ratings and reviews

I like the idea hence I'm still trying the app. Two things that is making the app almost unusable: 1. If the question is too long, I lose the button to submit my answer. There isn't a way to scroll down. So if I match with someone 1-3 times and I get a question thats too long, I'm unable to submit the answer and I lose the match. 2. When I login, sometimes my matches come up and other times the app thinks I have no matches. It can take 1 or 2 app restarts for the app to fix.

I tried making an account but after I set my preferences it resets to ask me when my birthday is and then repeats that loop infinitely. I cannot get past it and fully set up my account until that's fixed. I will be happy to update this review when it does get fixed.

Good concept but if you miss the time to hatch matches you have to wait all day again. I missed the window and now have to wait till midnight.
