The HAVEN app is used to control HAVEN Connect, a preventative smart lock for doors. The HAVEN app uses BlueTooth in your smart phone to lock and unlock HAVEN Connect. Additionally, the app allows you to send guest passes to allow others to access your home. You can even schedule guest passes for certain days and times.

The product is good. The ap still needs work. I've had to reload it a dozen times cause it will not find the unit, then after a delete/reinstall its good. But then will forget it again. I'm editing my review. The haven consistently will not connect to the app. Which is why I paid the extra money. Save your cash and get the standard version

Bad. Was horribly difficult to connect by bluetooth. Erroneously displays as "Locked" right after unlocking due to hardware flaw on my unit (need to step on Haven to change to "Unlocked"). One-button app: can only attempt to lock when display says "Unlocked" and visa versa. They really want you to pay for the key fob that just works better, but is far larger than a car's key fob. Will at times fail to connect, even after restarting phone. Toggling Airplane mode works for me so far.

Mechanical aspect of lock works great but this is no tech company. Bluetooth functionality is horrible. Got slightly better with major update, but still can't trust it to let you back in your house. Hub was promising and can work great... Until it doesn't. No remote support. Still get locked out. If wifi router resets or power goes out you are just up a creek without a paddle. This company is taking minimally functional prototype to the next level. And they take down any negative reviews!!!!
