Haven is a self-hosted encrypted chat app that puts your privacy first. Connect to your own Haven server and communicate with full end-to-end encryption — no third parties, no data harvesting, no compromises.
📱 REQUIREMENTS
• A running Haven server (self-hosted: https://ancsemi.github.io/Haven/) or Community Server (Channel da0b9be7)
• Android 8.0 (Oreo) or later

🔒 END-TO-END ENCRYPTION
Text messages in direct messages are encrypted using ECDH P-256 key exchange with HKDF-SHA256 derivation and AES-256-GCM. Your encryption keys are generated on-device and never leave your phone. Optional encrypted key backup lets you restore across devices using your password.

Wow this app is way better than discord. active developers, great community, and easy server creation. The privacy is so nice. everything is owned by YOU not a mega corp trying to steal your information and going through data leaks. amazing app. must check out. 10/10.

the audacity that discord is demanding photos of people's IDs in some countries is disgusting especially when you can be so easily compromised and have your identity stolen. this app is the exact thing that I want to see more of. more Linux, more options like brave instead of google, more things like graphine os, more freedom and less big brother. the more you baby an adult the less they will learn. teaching and limits need to be put in place by parents not the government and not companies.

What’s new

• Buttons labeled with a symbol, like the + for adding a server or a reaction, the X that removes an attachment or a server, and the arrows that move a server, now show it exactly in the middle instead of a little low.
• The + for adding a server now always shows in the accent color, as on the web, instead of sometimes turning gray.
