Think First puts a mindful moment before you open a distracting app. Not a blocker that locks you out – a calm countdown and a single question. The decision stays yours.
THE MOMENT
You tap Instagram. Instead of the feed, a countdown appears with one question: "Why do you want to open this right now?" Then you decide – open it or let it go. What gets counted is how often you deliberately decide against it.
WHY NOT A HARD BLOCK
Hard blockers get switched off sooner or later. A moment that hands the decision back lasts longer – because it is not working against you.

ACCESSIBILITY SERVICE – WHAT FOR
Think First uses an accessibility service because Android offers no other way to detect when an app comes to the foreground. It evaluates the name of the active app. If you also switch on the short-video block, the app checks which controls are on screen in that one app, to recognise the Reels section.
No text, messages, input or screen contents are read. None of it is stored, and none of it leaves your device. You grant the service yourself and can switch it off at any time.
YOUR DATA
Statistics, schedules and progress stay on the device. No account, no ads, no tracking. Only the optional Friends feature talks to a server, and it transmits only your nickname, a random ID and daily counters – no app names, no usage times. Fully deletable at any time.
