For just the basics, this app NAILS it!!! Want just to turn on the light when you're lying comfortably in any position: back, belly, either side? With your phone by your side click the intuitive brightness level. How's the charge holding up? Open the app and the information is right there in front of you. This app is very simple and basic. If that's all you need, WOW.

It works pretty well. I do wish they would create a firmware to turn on or off the Bluetooth or to keep it automatically searching for the phone to connect back to so you don't have to re-cycle the physical device to reconnect, but that might be a hardware thing... Update 7/25/26... Still on version 1 of my device firmware, I'd still love to see those features, or maybe it automatically keeping/turning on wifi and Bluetooth search while the device is either plugged in charged or charging...

The app worked great for a couple of months but now it is useless. The device is offline and won't connect to the app and it's trying to get me to figure it out, even though the problem is with the app or the device. Having it connect through Wi-Fi and Bluetooth both and having neither of them be useful seems pointless. It seems that you need to keep using the device and the app constantly to keep them in sync, and who uses their battery app that much?
