Introducing the dramatized audio edition of The Clear Quran, featuring a number of voice talents—which, to the best of my knowledge, has never been done before with any translation of the Quran. What makes The Clear Quran fit for this unprecedented project is its ability to reflect some of the beauty of the original in the English language. It’s noted for clarity, accuracy, eloquence, and flow, and has been officially approved by Al-Azhar, and endorsed by the Canadian Council of Imams, as well as many qualified scholars from all over the world.

Ratings and reviews

The audiobook is fantastic, the narrations and dramatisation are exceptional. A very easy listen. But the app is very buggy and playback isn't ideal. I think with it being so new, this is expected. Just waiting for these issues to iron out before I restart my subscription. Currently no playback, even for surahs downloaded. Can't start from where you left off.

This is a brilliant idea, and may Allah bless and reward everyone a part of the creation of this app. I always tried to read the translation but never follow to the end because I wanted to listen to it, and I never found an audio version I could focus on. Minor things that need working. The audio player doesn't seem to show up in the notifications bar when you close your phone, and if you hit pause, it tends to only remember where you stopped for a short time before disappearing.

It is a very good concept, and I am excited for the final product that it will likely grow into. At the moment it has a lot of things that could be improved. Firstly there needs to be a way to know which ayah is being read and there needs to be a feature in the app that records where you paused audio so you can pick up from where you left off. Additionally, it would be nice if there was an option to turn off the humming as it can be a bit distracting at times.
