I don't recoment HDFC ERGO. Very disappointed experience. The app and website both are useless. I tried to renew my health insurance, but it was not allowing to pass through the renew page. Customer care utterly useless. After calling several times for over a month everyday no body could help me. One says due to kyc pending it was not allowing to renew, but why was it not showing when I tired to renew it? Even after KYC was done the problem persisted. Finally the policy lapsed.

They will call 100 times when the renewal is pending but will never connect when you are raising a claim, you will get zero help and they will keep throwing more and more paper work and will never resolve. Also the app is worst and the AI that they have is of no use but will waste your usefull time a lot. Go with any other company but not with HDFC ERGO if you need peace of mind. thanks

terrible experience, the app is designed to frustrate policy holders and for the company to be unreachable. asks for a lot of information which they already have to be filled manually instead of prefilling. after filling up everything if you try to raise the complaint it conveniently times out. The chat with us option doesn't work and no contact centre number listed. what a shame for a top insurer. Playing hard to get and putting insurmountable hurdles to report any issue.
