TWO DEFINITIVE EDITIONS OF THE CATHOLIC CANON

Verbum includes the entirety of the Old and New Testaments, including all the deuterocanonical books (Tobit, Judith, 1 and 2 Maccabees, Wisdom, Sirach/Ecclesiasticus, Baruch) through two public domain editions:

The Crampon Bible 1923 (French): A historic Catholic translation by Canon Augustin Crampon, revised with the assistance of Jesuit priests and professors from Saint-Sulpice. It is particularly renowned for its literal fidelity to the original Hebrew, Aramaic, and Greek texts. The Clementine Vulgate 1598 (Latin): The great historical text of Catholic tradition in Latin. A valuable resource for students, seminarians, Latin scholars, and the faithful devoted to prayer and liturgy in Latin.
