quite useful. I've been using this app for at least 4 years, and it's still great. The first time you set it up, take a few extra minutes to rearrange & add categories so it is in the order of your store. I love the fact that it can be shared by multiple devices (ex. DH just adds something to the list when he uses the last of it instead of telling me 2 weeks later, and he can hit the store on his way home if I'm tied up with something else). The ability to keep multiple lists and import items, or use from your is helpful. Only way to make better is add a meal planning area
This is far and away the best shopping list app. Not only can my wife add last-minute items to the list as I shop, but she can see my progress as I move through the isles at Costco. We sort items by store. I can check the other store lists if I see an item where I am and maybe buy it. We put @isle and #itemnumber onto Costco items (i.e., walnuts @309) to help find things.
Easy to use. Greatest thing is other people can sync their phone app with yours to have one shopping list. They can add or delete items which will appear on your phone. When shopping, click on items you buy and it crosses them off all phones. Erase entire list when done. Start again. Outstanding app!
I like the fact multiple people who are in the same household can share the same grocery list on their own devices. That way, whoever has the 1st opportunity to shop can pick things up with no repeats of items. Or if you seem to be the only one making a list, you can tell a partner to just look at their phone app to see what you want them to pick up.
I'd been using OI Shopping List for a couple of years now, and Palm's ShopList before that. Both were OK. They could both show me a list on my phone...but nowhere else. That's where OurGroceries came along and did way better. Now, I can update my list from the comfort of my chair at my PC _or_ on my phone. It also allows for sharing between family members. My family was always telling me what to put on the list at the most inopportune times, so I would have to tell them, put it on the white board or tell me later. Either they'd forget, or I'd forget. Now, I just tell them use your own phone to update the list or use the PC. I'm not the middle man any more. I'm just the guy that uses the list to do the shopping. Kudos.
My wife and I use this on a daily basis, sometimes I'm at the store and get through the list partially and she adds stuff to it so then I call and we argue over the phone, ahh marriage. The app is top notch too.
• Fix rare crash when choosing photo.
• Fix rare problem where app would launch to wrong screen.
