Hear Boost is a Hearing amplifier & Sound amplifier that makes voices louder in your headphones.

Put the phone near the person talking or next to the television, put your headphones on, and press one big button. Voices get louder and clearer, right in your ears.

Built for people who are tired of asking "what?" — large text, big buttons, nothing to set up.

WHAT IT DOES

• Hearing amplifier — amplify voices and sounds around you in real time
• Four situations, one tap: Talking, TV, Outside, Around me. Each one filters the room differently, so speech stays in front and rumble stays out
• Live captions — read what people say on the screen while they speak
• Live translation — hear one language, read another
• Record a talk — get the full text, send it to anyone, or ask for a short version
• Sound meter — see how loud the room is before you strain to listen
• Hearing test — eight quick tones, and the app tilts the sound towards the bands you hear least
• Hear distant and quiet sounds — a bird outside, a whisper across the room, the television two rooms away

HOW TO USE IT

1. Put in your headphones. Wired or wireless, both work — wired ones sound live, wireless ones add a short delay.
2. Put the phone near the sound: on the table by the person talking, or next to the TV speaker.
3. Press Listen.

Listening keeps working with the screen off, so you can leave the phone by the television and sit down. A notification stays there to stop it.

WHY THE PHONE HAS TO BE NEAR THE SOUND

The microphone is in the phone, not in your headphones. That is why the phone belongs close to what you want to hear. Nothing can amplify a voice it cannot pick up.

Prices are shown in the app before you pay, subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled, and you can cancel any time in Google Play.
