About this game

Open a quiet workshop and make something useful. Hearth & Clay is an offline pottery simulation with 48 commissions and a twelve-chapter story about the people who give ordinary objects meaning.

Your grandmother left a key inside a chipped blue cup. Beyond the workshop window, a small town is waiting for another beginning. Make pieces for a shared bakery table, a reading room, a night market, a harbor shelter and the neighbors who bring those places to life.

Each commission has three hands-on stages. Shape the vessel by dragging its sides toward the requested silhouette. Choose from six glazes and paint the top, middle and bottom bands to match the order. Then regulate kiln heat as the temperature changes gradually. A steady firing completes the piece; overheating means another turn at the wheel.

Shape, glaze and firing accuracy combine into a final score. Reach the delivery target to complete an order, or return later to improve your work and earn up to three stars. Four completed commissions unlock the next chapter and reveal what happened after your delivery.

Swipe through a pottery-gallery menu to explore twelve chapter vessels and read the neighbors' letters. Your collection preserves the actual shapes and colors of your best completed pieces.
