About this app

The Heat Pump Go app lets you manage all the MCS requirements for your installation, in one place.

App Registration and Certificate Check
1. Open the app and login in with your email address and set a new password.
2. Complete your registration, by uploading a copy of your Public Liability Insurance & G3 Unvented Hot Water certification.
3. We will then publish your project for you to complete the simple site Pre-Installation and Pre-MCS Commissioning modules, and send back to our team.

Pre-Installation
1. Equipment Check: Upload your heat emitter and heat pump quotes to the app. We will check they meet the room-by-room heat loss calculation, so you know you are buying the right kit, and your customer will be warm.
2. MCS Contract: Add your end customer details for us to send them our MCS letter to sign and return. This will also let us make the Boiler Upgrade Scheme application for qualifying customers.
3. Sound Power Calculation: Take photos and site measurements, for us to complete the MCS020 Sound Power Calculation and confirm permitted development under planning rules.
4. DNO Approval: Take pictures of the existing supply with MPAN number, or new supply order details from the main contractor or electrician. We submit the DNO request and manage the approval for you and your customer before you can connect the heat pump to the electricity supply.

Pre-MCS Commissioning
1. Upload site photos and evidence, of the installed heat pump and heat emitters for review.
2. In as little as 10 minutes, we will highlight any outstanding evidence for you to complete, before you leave site.

MCS Certified
1. We register your installation, produce the MCS certification and notify building control for you.
2. You will get a comprehensive handover pack for you to issue to your customer.
