Ratings and reviews

Poor product search. Many carried products don't show up in the search function. No aisle info on search results to find products. Makes the search function basically useless. If you want to go there to get something, you have no idea where to find it, or even if they carry it, since the search results are unreliable or missing altogether. That's why I only go to Heinen's as a last resort.

This app would definitely be improved if the following were addressed: (1) This app doesn't aid in finding product/s at any Heinen's store. Aisle numbers/letters aren't provided for in-stock items. (2) While this app may be linked to a customer's Rewards account for in-store POS machine barcode scanning, it's not linked to a designated credit card for easy POS machine purchasing. The customer must launch Google Wallet or, if using an iPhone, Apple Pay after scanning this app's Rewards barcode.

Upgrades can be good--the old app definitely had it's share of issues, but I loved that I didn't have to go looking for things. They were in obvious places and it was easily accessible from the main page. This redesign is cluttered and confusing. Also not loving that now you have pricing options (not active yet) next to pick up times--one of the reasons I choose heinens is that it's free pickup. If that goes away I probably won't be back. ETA: You can no longer easily edit your orders. -1 star.
