Toll! It's one of the best, most comprehensive, and easiest German language learning apps I've found. From basic beginners (A1) to fluent speakers (C1), there's something for everyone who wants to learn and/or improve speaking, understanding, & writing German. Learn by reading and listening to short articles & stories, which are written specially for each level of fluency, and also using helpful tools such as quizzes, flash cards, a grammar section, and more. Lots of free content. Interactive.

This is a good app to attempt reading comprehension, as well as figuring out grammar. Need to know grammar vocabulary such as accusative, etc. Could be improved by including definitions for vocabulary terms as most English speakers know that the words mean something to do with grammer, but the vocabulary is not used in common speech enough to be clear to most users.

The design is excellent. I love being able to make and review flashcards, see the vocabulary words in context and conjugation, and listen to the stories. The variety of stories is pretty good as well. I'll note two small problems: first, sometimes the English translation is a little sloppy and inaccurate. In this case I am not always sure what is meant. Second, occasionallthe articles are somewhat poorly written and non-sequitur. Overall I prefer Readle to Duolingo because I can go faster.
