About this app
Hello App is a private place to talk with the people you know. Message one person or a group, call by voice or video, and share what is happening, with settings that let you decide who sees what.
TALK
• One-to-one chats and group chats, with replies, reactions and mentions
• Photos, videos, voice notes, documents, contacts and your location
• Short video messages you record on the spot
• Polls for quick group decisions
• Send one message to many people at once
CALL
• Voice and video calls
• Group calls, with screen sharing on supported phones
SHARE
• Post a photo, a video or a few words that disappear after 24 hours, and choose who can see it
• Follow public channels run by creators and organisations, or start your own
• Send a live location for 15 minutes, 1 hour or 8 hours. It runs only if you allow it, a notification shows while it is on, and you can stop at any time
YOUR PRIVACY
• Optional end-to-end encryption for text in one-to-one chats (turn it on in Settings)
• Photos and voice notes that can be opened only once, and messages that delete themselves after a time you choose
• Lock chats behind a code, and lock the whole app with your fingerprint or face
• Two-step verification with a PIN
• Choose who sees your photo, about, last seen and updates; block people and report abuse
• Use your account on more than one device and sign out any device from your phone

• Adjustable text size
• Add people with a QR code
• Save a copy of a chat
Your chats and recent messages are kept on your phone so the app opens quickly. Need help? Open Settings, then Help and feedback.

Hello App is an original app with its own name, icon and design. It has no connection with any other messaging service. After your notice we rewrote the store description so that it no longer uses wording close to other apps, and we replaced the app icon and the store graphics with a new original design. Please review the updated listing.
