Hello Echoes is a private, protected space for people who have lost someone and feel the need to
continue writing—to Dad, Mom, a partner, a child.
The app feels like WhatsApp, but without replies, without AI, without simulating the deceased. The act of writing
itself is the act—the app never replies.
Write what moves you. Send a photo from the bakery. Record a voice memo. What you share is preserved.
Write what moves you. Send a photo from the bakery. Record a voice memo. WHAT HELLO ECHOES IS
• A familiar, warm space, like a room with natural light
• Familiar chat interface with speech bubbles
• Texts, photos, videos, voice memos—all just for you
WHAT HELLO ECHOES IS NOT
• No chatbot, no griefbot, no AI simulation
• No cloud storage, no backend, no account
• No tracking, no advertising, no push notifications
• No streaks, no likes, no gamification
YOUR DATA STAYS WITH YOU
Everything is stored exclusively locally on your device. Hello Echoes deliberately does not request internet access. You can export your entries as a ZIP file at any time and transfer them to another device.
PROTECTION
Optionally, you can protect Hello Echoes with Face ID or fingerprint. No one else will open this space.
PHILOSOPHY
Grief is not the subject of this app. Hello Echoes does not amplify it, it does not dwell on it, it does not focus on the loss. Instead, a place is created where a relationship continues to breathe — a friendly space where you can say what you otherwise can no longer say.
