About this app

HenPass is the free chicken app for backyard keepers and anyone who has adopted rescued hens – whether your chickens are pets, layers or both. Look after their health and medication, plan chores, count eggs if you like, and keep every hen's story – all in one place, all on your phone.

A PROFILE FOR EVERY HEN AND ROOSTER
Photo, name, breed and color, hen or rooster, hatch date, when they joined you and where they came from – for example a hen rescue. Add leg-ring color, personality and notes. A weight chart and a photo timeline show how each bird changes over time.

CHICKEN HEALTH LOG
Record symptoms, diagnoses, vet visits, vaccinations, molt, weight and medication in seconds – for one hen or the whole flock at once. Tap any entry to see or change it, and add a photo, for example of the medicine package.

MEDICATION & EGG WITHDRAWAL
Enter the withdrawal period and HenPass shows "eggs paused until …" for that hen and on the egg screen, so you know which eggs not to eat yet.

EGG TRACKER
Count today's eggs with one tap, log eggs for single hens or another day, and see the last 7 and 30 days, eggs per day and your top layers.

CHORES & REMINDERS
Feeding and water, collecting eggs, cleaning the coop, mite control, worm checks, weighing, giving medication – with reminders when they are due.

COSTS & INCOME
Feed, bedding, vet and equipment costs, and any income if you sell eggs. HenPass shows your cost per egg.

FLOCK REGISTER
Arrivals and departures are recorded automatically, ready to print. In Germany keepers must keep this register.

VET PRINTOUT
A clear PDF for one bird or the whole flock to share or print for your vet. Save your avian vet's number and call them with one tap.

PHOTO JOURNAL
First eggs, dust baths, new arrivals – keep the moments.

RAINBOW BRIDGE
When a chicken passes, keep their story as a gentle memory instead of deleting it.

PRIVATE BY DEFAULT
No account, no cloud: your flock data stays on your phone. Save a backup or export CSV for Excel whenever you like. A small ad keeps HenPass free – personalized only with your consent.

English and German. Light and dark mode.

HenPass helps you keep records. It does not replace your vet.

What’s new

Haptic feedback you can switch off in Settings, with nicer taps on Android. HenPass is ad-free for now: no ad banner and no consent dialog at start. Plus small fixes.
