Three monosynths, a drum machine, a mixer and some effects - what else do you really need? Oh yeah, a sequencer, so you can put it all together! And all this is what PhoenixStudio is!

PhoenixStudio is a re-release of the smash hit PocketPC app I originally created in 2001. For a long time it was by far the most powerful and user friendly music app for the platform.

In this Android re-release, the UI has not yet been adapted for small touch screens (it was intended for stylus-controlled devices) but it will work fine on Galaxy Note and similar, and it should also be usable on large screen tablets.

Except for the save functionality, which can be purchased in-app, PhoenixStudio is free to use and play with.

I had this app in 2023...And it WAS excellent. After wiping device, and attempting re-installation, cannot get app to open. I am reading other reviews, and others have had problems too. Will the developer bring back the older version that worked....really. Installing backup of app is no solution, as the certificate(s) are expired, or invalid. I HAD a version that was good till 2036...If you have to restore your phone, I think you may be really disappointed...update doesn't work. 5 stars to .1 !

I downloaded this app for Android 8. Fantastic program, really. I think it was originally designed for desktop or Windows I.O.S. platform. Digital synthesizer, quite excellent capacity. But... doesn't seem to work on Android 10 so we'll... I think it could be my NEW device. User probably needs stylus to use, or a large screen notepad. P.S. There IS a user manual, and it's necessary to have for success. You may need to download it from an archive. AWSOME app....no spam or ads.

Exported WAV files aren't accessible anymore. It's becoming a hassle to have to screen record the song instead of having it ready in the app's data.
