HerbEye turns your phone's camera into a pocket guide to medicinal plants. Point it at a leaf, flower, or whole plant and HerbEye identifies the species, then gathers what is traditionally known about how that plant has been used in herbal practice.
Built for herbal enthusiasts, students, gardeners, and the plain curious, HerbEye makes plant knowledge easy to explore wherever you are.
WHAT YOU CAN DO
- Identify plants from a photo — take or upload a picture and get the most likely species, with its scientific name and a confidence score.
- Check plant health — spot common signs of disease or stress on the plant you have photographed.
- Explore traditional uses — read an easy-to-follow overview of the plant, the parts used, common preparations, and points of caution drawn from herbal reference material.
- Save and revisit — keep your identifications in a personal history and archive the ones you want to return to, with your own notes.
- Look up an ailment — see which plants are traditionally associated with a concern and learn more about them.
