The INFO-Neige mobile app is the best source of information on the status of snow loading this winter in Montréal.

The app connects in real time to the city's open data and displays the status of snow loading operations using a simple and intuitive interface. It allows you to show your position and receive a notification when the status of the street on which you are parked changes, helping you to avoid having your vehicle towed. The application allows you to record your searches in a list of favourites and consult the location of parking spaces that the city offers free of charge.

I don't understand this app. It's supposed to notify you to move your car when the snow is being removed to avoid getting tickets, it's shouldn't notify you after the snow is removed. I pinned my position where I parked my car, and it did not notify me that the tractor snow plow was clearing the snow, but I got a notification saying it was cleared overnight. This happened twice. Fix your app. Make it more useful.

Since 2017, I’ve had a bad experience with the snow removal app. It failed to provide the correct information about snow clearing schedules. One weekend, I left my car parked and went out of town. When I returned, I was shocked to find that my car had been towed and I had received a ticket. After calling 311, we checked the snow removal status together and discovered that the app had shown no snow removal planned, even though it was in progress. Be cautious always check the panels on the street

I downloaded the app after the first major snowfall of winter 2021. It gave me alerts fast enough to avoid towing. Alerts for when clearins is scheduked is fast. There is a small lag between when the trucks are actually on the street and when the app said "in progress" and the same for when it said "Cleared".
