About this app

Herpository is a reptile care tracker for keepers who want every feeding, shed, and weigh-in in one place instead of scattered across spreadsheets, notes apps, and memory. Log care in a few taps, see what's due today, and keep each animal's history ready to export for a buyer or your vet.

It's made for reptile keepers, with care sheets for ball pythons, corn snakes, boas, leopard geckos, crested geckos, bearded dragons, chameleons, tortoises, turtles, and many more. Amphibians, tarantulas and other invertebrates, fish, birds, and small mammals are supported too, so the whole collection lives in one app.

LOG EVERY PART OF THE ROUTINE
• Feeding log with food type, amount, and refusals, with feeder stock deducted automatically
• Shed tracking, weight and growth charts, cleaning, health observations, behavior, and bowel movements
• Temperature and humidity readings, plus water tests (ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, pH) for aquatic animals
• Photos of every animal and enclosure

KNOW WHAT'S DUE
• A dashboard you can rearrange, showing who needs feeding, weighing, or attention
• Feeding schedules that set the next due date every time you log a meal
• A daily care checklist and optional push reminders
• Calendar events and recurring tasks
• Low-stock alerts for your feeders

HUSBANDRY REFERENCE
• Species care sheets with temperature, basking, and humidity ranges, with sources cited
• Profiles for species, morph, sex, acquisition, habitat, and UVB setup
• Search and custom groups for larger collections

ENCLOSURE LABELS
Print a QR label or program an NFC tag for each enclosure. Scan it with your phone to open that animal and log care right away.

FOR BREEDERS
With Premium or Breeder, track pairs, pairings, clutches, and hatchlings, work out ball python morph odds with the genetics calculator, and record expenses. Share available animals on a public For Sale page with its own link and QR code.

YOUR RECORDS, ANYWHERE
Feedings, weights, and sheds logged without signal are saved on your phone and sync when you reconnect. Use the same account on Android, iPhone, or the web, export your records anytime, or import animals from a spreadsheet.

PLANS
Free for up to 3 animals, with full care logging. Premium covers up to 50 animals and adds breeding records, more photo storage, and the For Sale page. Breeder includes everything in Premium with unlimited animals. Eligible new subscribers get a 30 day free trial.

An account is required. Herpository is a recordkeeping tool with general husbandry information, not veterinary advice; see a qualified reptile vet for health concerns. For Sale pages are listings created by keepers, and Herpository doesn't handle animal sales or payments.

What’s new

- Missed a feeding? If nothing is logged a couple of days after a feeding is due, you'll get one more reminder asking whether you fed. Choose 1, 2, or 3 days, or turn it off, under Account > Reminders.
- Snooze feeding reminders for 1, 6, or 24 hours right from the notification; pull it down to see the buttons. Logging the feeding cancels the snooze.
- Fixes for Celsius enclosure temperatures and backdated feedings.
