Hetal pays you to film store aisles at retailers you already visit—Walmart, Target, Sprouts, and Whole Foods. Open the app, film the assigned aisles, upload, and get paid. No purchases. No customer interaction. No experience required.

You get paid by the number of aisles you complete. Experienced Hetalites average $40 / $60 per hour.

How it works:
1. Sign up and complete your first assignment at a nearby store—you have 7 full days from reservation to complete it.
2. After your trial, new assignments drop every Monday morning on a first-come, first-served basis.
3. Complete your assignments by uploading high quality videos of the store aisles.
4. Videos are reviewed within 3 - 4 business days, and payment hits your bank account 2 - 4 business days after approval.

What to know before you start:
- Pay varies by assignment size, typically ranging from ~$6 for smaller assignments to ~$15 for larger ones.
- After your trial assignment, you start with the ability to reserve up to 3 assignments per week. Reliable completion unlocks access to more assignments over time—our most active users complete 20+ assignments per week.
- If you can't complete a reservation, simply cancel it in the app as soon as possible to protect your standing. Repeated missed reservations will reduce your weekly limit.
- Your first few assignments will take longer while you learn the store layouts—this is completely normal. As you get efficient and plan your routes, your hourly earning speed climbs.

Requirements:
- A smartphone with a functioning camera.
- A secure bank account to receive payouts via Plaid.
- Reliable internet connection to upload video files.
- Job is flexible and on your own schedule, no guaranteed hours.

Tips:
- Record the full shelf moving slowly and steadily from top to bottom, not just individual products. Make sure to capture the aisle number!
- Stores occasionally reset or discontinue items without telling us. If a product is missing, film that aisle anyway and submit it. Your assignment will still be approved and paid if your other videos are clear.
- Video uploads can be slow on cellular data. Connect to Wi-Fi at home and leave the app open in the background to finish your uploads seamlessly.

Hetal is a great way to earn some extra money while shopping. Simply record store aisles while you’re already doing your shopping and we’ll get you paid up to $10 for 10 min! When you sign up, add your local stores (grocery, Target, etc.) and we’ll notify you when recording sessions are available to reserve. All videos must be taken with the Hetal app and must be high quality (i.e. not blurry) in order to be paid.

Ratings and reviews

👎🏽👎🏽 Getting full top to bottom of each isle unobstructed is impossible so you have to make multiple passes which is difficult during reg. business hrs no matter how slow, steady you go it consistently says "slow down." even using cellular data w/ full bars videos take more than 10 min to upload. in order to get paid, you must link bank with "plaid." plaid either never links and or says your account is not compatible. waste of time and energy if you're looking for gig work. doesn't pay.

Very slow to load w/o WIFI. You may only get paid $5 for 5 aisles or $11 for 23 aisles. It could be for the exact same store. Be aware you can only reserve 3 stores max at a time, fully complete & download your videos. THEN you can reserve other stores to audit. But only then. If you are not familiar with the store, you will be chasing all over and it could be a couple of hours or more to get those 23 or more isles done for $11-14 or less/assignment. + your gas which is $$$ Not worth it.

So here is some constructive feedback to take back to your app support team and partners. The app is very straightforward. The biggest issue is the storage the app is doing on the phone as you complete videos. I have to make sure I clear app data to keep my phone from slowing down. The solution for this is to have options for storing data to external storage like microSD cards. Also, we should be able to pick recorded videos individually to upload vs. group upload for data consistency.
