Hexadax is a turn-based strategy game on a map of hexagons. Buy units, expand your provinces, manage your gold… and eliminate every rival.
A CONQUEST GAME THAT IS EASY TO LEARN
• Every hex earns 1 gold per turn; every unit costs upkeep. A bankrupt province loses its army.
• Four units (peasant, spearman, baron, knight): the stronger one wins. Merge two units into a mightier one.
• Farms for the economy, towers for defense, a capital to protect: taking the enemy's costs them their treasury.
• Cut the trees spreading over your land, watch your borders, link your provinces.
OPTIONS TO KEEP EVERY GAME DIFFERENT
• Islands mode: ports, ships, beachheads held by their boat, colonies supplied by sea… and supply lines to cut.
• Diplomacy: peace, alliances, truces, tributes, reparations, land swaps, calls to arms… and a reputation that follows you.
• Fog of war, land already split into tiny holdings, movement limit, optional buildings, dice rolls between knights.
• Up to 8 players per game, five AI levels that never cheat and an automatic difficulty, hot-seat play on a single device.
CAMPAIGN AND MAPS
• A 47-level campaign in 9 chapters with an illustrated briefing, tips and a goal before each level, up to 3 stars per level.
• A daily and a weekly challenge (the same map for everyone), a gallery of hand-picked maps and maps to share with a code.
• 18 hand-drawn maps with their relief: World, Europe, France, British Isles, North America, USA, Asia, China, Japan, Middle East, Africa, Oceania, South America, Mediterranean, India, Scandinavia and two imaginary worlds.
• A tunable map generator (size, silhouette, coasts, forests, mountains, hills) and an editor with share codes.
LEARN AND PROGRESS
• Nine tutorials, starting with a guided first battle at the first launch (the basics and combat), then economy, the interface, relief and special units, the sea, diplomacy, rivers and bridges, the wild lands, the fire lands.
• 33 achievements rewarded with coins, a gift for every day you play and a hint button for when you hesitate.
• Rivers crossed on bridges (straight across or at an angle, to capture or blow up), paths and paved roads, mines, fortified bridges, impassable mountains, hills; archer, catapult, cavalry and explorer as options.
• Wild lands: neutral villages to rally or help with their quests, bandit camps to loot, roaming bandits, a merchant caravan, mercenaries for hire, ruins to search; campaign levels with goals and stories.
• Fortifications: a palisade and a stone wall around your castle, and the catapult to bring them down.
• Fire lands: canyons crossed on rope bridges, volcanoes that smoke then erupt, lava that burns everything, geysers full of gold.
• A content shop (map skins, maps, units, infrastructure): rent with coins earned by playing, or keep for good for €0.99 each.
COMFORT
• Undo, saves, game statistics, map comparison between two turns.
• Detailed hex card on tap, every protected hex shown with a tap on a tower.
• Accessibility: territory patterns for color-blind players, adjustable text size, battery saver.
• Interface in 17 languages: English, French, Spanish, German, Italian, Portuguese, Russian, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Arabic, Turkish, Indonesian, Polish, Vietnamese, Thai, Ukrainian.
