About this app

This is the companion app for Hexnode UEM. This app enables the overall management of your Android devices with Hexnode's Unified Endpoint Management solution. With Hexnode UEM, your IT team can remotely configure settings on the devices in your enterprise, enforce security policies, manage mobile applications and remotely lock, wipe and locate devices. You can also access any app catalogs your IT team has set up for you.

Send location notes from within the app with Hexnode. Messages sent via the MDM console and device compliance details can be viewed right within the app. Kiosk management feature sets up the device to run only the specific app(s) and apply the services configured by the administrator, preventing all other apps and functionalities. Access to the features like flashlight, Wi-Fi network, and Bluetooth can be blocked/unblocked, report location manually to the administrator, prevent the screen from sleeping, and remotely adjust volume and brightness while in the kiosk mode.

NOTES:
1. This is not a standalone app, it requires Hexnode's Unified Endpoint Management solution for managing devices. Please contact your organization's MDM administrator for further help.
2. This app uses the Device Administrator permission.
3. This app might need to access device location in the background.
4. The app makes use of VPN service to restrict app usage.

We were shopping for an MDM and about 8 hours after starting a trial, we received an email threatening to cancel our trial if we didn't provide a shopping list of information because the internal team couldn't verify.... were a 501(c) all our stuff is public, not sure how hard they looked. This rubbed us the wrong way and if their customer support team treats their potential clients like this, how do they treat fish they already landed.... This is for bigger numbers as well and was exactly what we were hunting for. Star Ratings Explanation: Customer service is -2 The Software itself about a 4

After being told my device was disenrolled the app did not remove the policy from my phone and was told by support that there is nothing that can be done. Phone is basically a paperweight now and can not be factory reset or anything.

Wanted extra access to phone's features. After finding out what the "server name" even means (from an external website because you goes don't have info on it anywhere on yours) I tried creating a portal to use, but I couldn't because one can only be made with a business email. Why such a process should even be required for such a simple app is beyond me, as well as why it costs money to create a portal name.
