Hey! isn't just another social network. It's an app designed for your real friends, for real moments spent together, without metrics that ruin everything, and with a built-in screen blocker to help you scroll less.
FRIEND POST - sharing with friends, for real
Only take photos when you're actually with your friends: a QR code scanned together confirms that you're together, before you can even take out your camera. Every activity becomes a shared post, where everyone's photos are added as the activity unfolds.
No like counter, no comment count displayed. Reactions take the form of real stickers on the frame, comments take the form of sticky notes, so it remains a memory, not a competition.
MESSAGES - a messaging app that respects your attention
Organize your contacts by importance (always notify parents, mute colleagues in the evening, etc.), mark messages as "important" to ensure they're seen, and find your conversations sorted the way you like.
BLOCKER - take back control of your screen time
A true app blocker, configurable at your own pace: gradual blocking to ease into it, or stricter if you want to cut it out completely. Questionnaires help you identify what you really want to do with your time, rather than just feeling guilty in front of your screen. (not yet complete)
PROFILE - everything you've built
Your past activities, your friends, your statistics, your privacy settings - all in one place, under your control.
HEY! - total transparency
This is where the team that builds the app speaks directly to you: updates, finances, decisions, everything is visible. You can give your opinion on upcoming features, and even financially support the project if you wish—with no return on investment other than the quality of the application or future projects, simply to choose where the money goes (infrastructure, new projects, etc.). This way, the app remains accountable to its users, not to investors seeking profit.
